Together, we come up with what I, the patient, and the family think is the best approach for the individual. This way, we can individualize the treatment for each person. Because of my family experiences I was drawn into the field of medicine early in my life. One of my close family members suffered from epilepsy since she was very young. I am passionate about sleep and helping patients achieve good sleep so they can be healthier and feel better during the day. I have particular interests in treating patients with obstructive and central sleep apnea, restless legs syndrome, narcolepsy, and idiopathic hypersomnia. For patients with sleep apnea who haven't done well with treatment in the past, I can often help make positive airway pressure (PAP) therapy more tolerable and effective.
